Daniel Francis Pedrotty

Mr. Pedrotty oversees the Capital Strategies Department across the three million-member Building Trades Unions. The program organizes workers’ capital into a voice for responsible investment, high-road job creation and retirement security. He previously worked as the Staff Director of the White House Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment. Prior to that, Mr. Pedrotty served as Director of Capital Strategies for the American Federation of Teachers.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Pedrotty worked as a Research Associate for the Initiative for Responsible Investment at Harvard University, and Director of the Office of Investment at the AFL-CIO. Mr. Pedrotty grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and currently resides in metro Cleveland, Ohio. He earned a BA from Dickinson College and a JD from Wake Forest University.
