Reece Johnson-Rock is the firm's inaugural Nine Dean Fellow, a multidisciplinary role spanning private equity, private credit, capital markets, quality jobs research, and operations, working directly alongside Nine Dean's partners. 

Ms. Johnson-Rock graduated from Spelman College in May 2026 with a BA in Economics and a minor in International Studies. As President of the Spelman College Investment Club, she led student oversight of the college's endowment, gaining hands-on portfolio management experience before entering the industry professionally. 

Her academic path took her abroad, where she developed conversational proficiency in both Korean and Japanese at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, and Josai International University in Togane, Japan, respectively. She was also a 3-year Fellow of AltFinance, an initiative that gives HBCU students exposure and mentorship in alternative investments; she now gives back to the program as a mentor.
