Sean Caesar is a seasoned executive with a track record of leadership in transforming organizations and generating value for stakeholders.  

Prior to Nine Dean, Mr. Caesar held the role of Senior Vice President of Finance at 7 Acquisition Corporation, a special-purpose acquisition company dedicated to achieving attractive risk-adjusted returns while adhering to core ESG principles. Before 7 Acquisition Corp, he was the Director of Finance at Organix Recycling, LLC, the largest pre-consumer food waste collector and recycler in the United States. While there, he led various financial and operational initiatives pivotal to the company’s turnaround and value appreciation. Beyond traditional financial projects, Mr. Caesar led initiatives within both the operational and business development departments, implementing analytical frameworks in areas where they were previously lacking. He also led the refinancing process, which brought top-tier financial institutions to the company’s capital structure, and the eventual sale of the company to a $100B+ private equity firm. 

Mr. Caesar previously held investment roles at Bridges Fund Management, a UK-based fund manager specializing in sustainable and impact investing. Before Bridges, he was an Associate at Relativity Capital, an operationally focused lower-middle-market private equity firm specializing in traditional and special-situations investments across the capital structure. 

Mr. Caesar resides in Brooklyn, NY, with his partner and son. He has worked with several charitable organizations dedicated to expanding equity and inclusion, and previously served on the Advisory Board of Project Inkblot, a design consultancy that helps companies build more equitable products and services by identifying and designing against cultural and racial bias. He holds a BBA from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.
